Official betting deals are the latest trend among American sports leagues. The NFL has just announced three sportsbooks as official betting partners. In exchange for getting official league data, these sportsbooks can promote their affiliation with the league and tie their brand to its statistics. The league expects to earn almost $1 billion over the next five years if the deal is upheld. But the NFL could opt out of the agreement within the first three years. Here are some examples of official betting deals:
The Liberty is one of eight original WNBA teams. The team plays at Barclays Center in Brooklyn and is owned by Joe Tsai, who is also the majority owner of the Brooklyn Nets. BetMGM has also become the official betting partner of the Knicks, Rangers, and Madison Square Garden. Betway and BetMGM also announced partnerships with six NBA/NHL franchises in March 2021. The league plans to offer exclusive sports betting on selected events.
The sports betting website must have a solid customer support system. In case of problems with placing a bet, a bad customer support system could cost you your wager or your potential winnings. Furthermore, refunds or withdrawals may take weeks or even months to be processed. To avoid such situations, the sports betting app should be active on social media and offer multiple ways to contact customer service agents. If the app is not active on social media, it will be difficult to resolve any issues with it.
